Google launched a new service for marketers today called Insights for Search. It’s basically a powerful spinoff of Google Trends, and shows search volume patterns across different regions, time frames, and categories. Using Insights for Search gives more data on search volume for “Facebook” across different geographies and times, which is arguably a good indicator of relative engagement and growth. Google unveils a 2008 Summer Olympics landing page, a clearinghouse for various GOOG tools that are tracking the events in Bejing. See a Google Map of medals, YouTube video highlights, Google News headlines, a 3D video tour plus Sketchup models of the venues, and add an iGoogle gadget that tracks medal counts to your Google homepage.

While most pundits talk about the second campaign being the most difficult, Keane is convinced the sensational Spaniard is too good to have any problems. Speaking exclusively in this week's official LFC Magazine he says: "I think he'll get better this year, which is great news for Liverpool and got to be a worry for the rest of the division.
