It's a slow news day, but this should set your heart racing if you didn't already know it: Arkansas strawberries are in. I bought a couple of quarts grown near Cabot at Terry's yesterday. Later, I got a Boulevard Bread e-mail saying they had organic Arkansas berries for $5.50 a quart. Our first ones of the season weren't the best ever, but still plenty good with a little whipped cream and sugar. What, you ask, does the picture above have to do with strawberries? Nothing. My girls will be back home in a couple three hours: life should be getting back to normal. But this has been a pivotal weekend, a changing weekend: our normal will be different. I've had a couple of epiphanies handed to me, practically on a silver platter. The time to act on these is now. In big news, Tim has gotten the job at the rock quarry: he'll be a stone cutter. He starts on Monday. He's quite excited about it: the job actually seems almost tailor-made for him: a combination of the artist
